Four Questions is a piece of artwork by Kathryn Hodgkinson which will incorporated into the fabric of the new Newcastle City Library.
By asking thousands of people four simple questions the answers will be woven into drawings that will be printed onto the walls of the new library. As well as freezing a moment in time the work will become a monument to the people of Newcastle.
The main point of this website was to give people the chance to answer the four questions online, and provide a low-maintenance way of collecting answers from a wide range of people.
This project required the design of a visual identity for this work-in-progress artwork. We incorporated some of Kathryn's early experimental sketches into the site to give a sense of the artwork to come...
